I’m sorry I don’t have a cute Valentine’s Day outfit to show, but Jasen and I had a very low-key V-Day this year because I had that interview that I’ve been talking about. I wore the outfit from my “Comedy Night” blog post to the interview because I thought it was perfect for the company I was visiting.
Yesterday after my interview was over, Jasen made dinner for us and we spent the evening at home. We had decided to shift our Valentine’s Day plans to today, but it’s about to start raining, and our idea of getting day passes for the Gold Line and visiting Little Tokyo and Olvera Street wouldn’t work out too well with rain. It’s supposed to rain through Saturday, so we’re probably going to take our Gold Line trip next week sometime.
I think the interview yesterday went well, though, and after talking to the recruiter at the company I want the job more than ever. I don’t want to mention the name of the company, but it’s a huge one, and the job would be a great fit for me because I have experience doing everything in the description. Plus, I’d be a regular employee but only work 29 hours per week, so I’d still have time for my blog and freelance. I wish I didn’t want this so much because I’m sure a lot of people applied for it...ughhh!
Okay, I guess I should actually talk about the outfit I’m wearing today. Since it’s gray outside and about to rain, I decided to wear this sweater that I found at Quality Thrift on Saturday for $2.99. Yes, $2.99!! I cannot believe the prices in that place. I’m amazed that I found this along with several other great items that day because it was insanely crowded. I love the asymmetrical diamond pattern on this sweater and thought it would be fun to wear with my saddle shoes.
