At Last

Blouse: thrifted
Skirt: thrifted
Bag: thrifted
Shoes: thrifted
Sunglasses: Urban Outfitters

It’s taken me forever to thrift a red pencil skirt that fits, but I finally have one! I’ve been wanting to wear this pale green, floral-print blouse with a red skirt, too, so of course that’s the first top I paired the skirt with. I love when I’m able to put shades of red and green together without looking like I’m dressed for a Christmas party. It’s such a great color combination.

  1. That pencil skirt looks lovely on you! This outfit reminds me that I really need to be on the lookout for some cute floral tops next time I'm out thrifting :)

  2. I know you'd been wanting to buy a red skirt for a while. It was worth waiting for! That is a really lovely skirt, and that color combination is so pretty!

  3. Hooray! Now we can be blog buddies! I love your pretty floral print top. I'm glad you found a red skirt to go with it because it looks really nice with the pale green colors in your top.

  4. oh that skirt looks beautiful on you.
it fits you perfectly. love this look so much.
now, i really want a red skirt!! :)
    have a wonderful week.

  5. oooh i love this look and to make things even better, they're all thrifted. that means you're the only one with them. very smart indeed!

  6. I have yet to get away with wearing red and green and not look like I'm dressed for Christmas. You've done so flawlessly! All I want is to wear a green gingham dress with a red cardigan, but I can hear the mocking now ;)

Oh how I loved playing Oregon Trail. I'm pretty sure the last version I played was Oregon Trail 2 for Windows...

  7. This is perfection. I'm so impressed with your thrifted finds!

  8. Wow, was a great skirt! It really emphasizes your fabulous figure and the color is so rich. You are a major thrifting inspiration Heater!

Thank you for the sweet words on my latest post :)

    Virginie xx
