My hair was getting WAY too long in back and annoying to style overall, so I just went and got it cut! It’s even more pixie than before with lots of texture. I really like how it turned out. It feels great to have so little hair on my head.
Once again, I gravitated toward earth tones with my outfit. This brown skirt always seems to work well with a cream top, and I reached for my olive cardigan on second thought after first reaching for my red one. I don’t know why I wanted the red one anyway, since I wore it yesterday, but I’m glad I went with the green.
And now...to do laundry and read the new Cosmo and drink strawberry lemonade.
aww your hair looks so cute Heather! and I love the earth tone color with small touches of detail on the top, cardigan buttons and the shoe detail around the toes.
ReplyDeleteThis outfit is very soothing to look at :)
Cute hair cut! I need to cut my hair again, I want him to take another inch off, I have a few weeks before I can again though- fff budgeting!
ReplyDeleteThis is seriously one of my favorite types of color combinations: neutrals + muted colors. I specially love deep olives and maroons. They feel naturally pretty and put together and it's what I'll put on naturally if I'm not really thinking. I love the detailing on your little knit shirt. Those kinds of white shirts are the best, since they can stand alone or be layered up a bunch.

I love your haircut! It's cute yet edgy. Oh and I never thought that olive and nude shades would go so well together. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI love the neutral colors in this outfit! Such a great combination. Also, your haircut looks lovely :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I'm smitten with your olive cardigan and those shoes.
ReplyDeleteI had a pixie cut some six or seven years ago and sometimes I seriously miss it.
So weird, I am going back through my entries I missed during all the party planning and I swear I commented on this- but I guess I didn't? I just said I liked your hair and was looking forward to cutting mine next month!
ReplyDeleteI really like this combo. The olive works so well with the cream and brown. Nice tones.
