It’s raining on and off today, so I thought I’d wear my favorite thrifted sweater ever. I’ve worn it on this blog once before, here. I love it so much! I think it’s an ’80s sweater, but it seems kind of ’50s to me. I should wear it more. This is ridiculous, but I think I don’t reach for it more often because it’s a little difficult to pull on. I have to put both arms into the sleeves at the same time and wriggle it over my boobs because the waistband doesn’t stretch much.
I worked from 9:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. yesterday proofreading and editing copy for an e-commerce site, so today I’m going to be lazy and read. I might be obnoxious and go read in a coffee shop, and by coffee shop I mean Starbucks because I have a Starbucks gift card. I’m excited about the project I just finished, though, because it could possibly lead to a full-time writing and editing job at a very cool company where my friend Ani recently started working.
I don't think reading in a coffee shop is obnoxious! I have big plans to go and finish my presentation in a coffee shop tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteOh, and I love this sweater... you should definitely reach for it whenever possible!
Reading in a coffee shop sounds lovely! I've been reading in my room for most of this super rainy day, actually.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, that is a lovely sweater! And the pleated skirt is wonderful :)
Such an adorable outfit as always. The collar with the sweater is wonderful. I also struggle with having the energy to put on some pieces, therefore ignoring them on most days...such a pain. Anyways, I adore this look!
ReplyDeleteThat sweater really is lovely :) In the past few months, I've gotten obsessed with pouring over the sweater racks when I got thrifting. I used to sort of just casually peruse, but there are so many gems hidden away. I basically love everything about this outfit :)
ReplyDeleteThat sweater is awfully pretty. And woah, go you for working so long! You certainly deserve a pat on the back.
ReplyDeleteand I find I like doing things at coffee shops like reading and blogging. Something about the atmosphere, you know?
xoxo mama wolf.

ReplyDeletei wish i could read in coffeeshops! i get so easily distracted by other noises that i can't concentrate and i end up reading the same page over and over again.
ReplyDeletethis is such an adorable outfit; the pleated skirt and the sweater are too cute together!

ReplyDeleteI love secret quiet time with a book in a coffee shop. No one to bother you, nice and peaceful music, the aroma of coffee. Sigh, so pleasant.
ReplyDeleteThis is the cutest outfit I have seen all week. Maybe all month.... bravo I say!
