I tried to counteract my sadness about Christmas being over with some post-holiday shopping today, but unfortunately I couldn’t find anything I wanted aside from a roll of 50%-off wrapping paper, two rolls of ribbons and two packages of gift boxes to save for next year. So I think I might have to do some online shopping tonight. Yep, I think so.
Today was fun anyway, though, because I got to hang out at the mall with Jasen, my brother Trevor and my mother-in-law, who is really cool (I got lucky there). Later on we went back to my dad’s house, and my dad, my brother Jeremy and a few more relatives showed up, yay! I’m very grateful to have a large family...but I also wish I had more time to spend with everyone.
That skirt is so perfect! :)
ReplyDeleteI kinda have the after-Christmas blues, too...did a little retail therapy this morning to help, as well. :)

love the print on your cardi. The Christmas blues got me down today as well but I shopped it off thankfully :)
ReplyDeletePost-holiday sadness is the worst. I love your cardigan, if that helps. Happy New Year.
ReplyDeleteThe color of your skirt looks so pretty with the nice pattern on your cardigan. Don't worry, I'm sad about Christmas being over too. I think a lot of people end up feeling this way.
ReplyDeleteI love your skirt and the pretty cardi. I never find anything in the sales either, boo! Thanks for your comment, I am prepared to be the new girl for quite some time! :p xx
ReplyDeleteOh man, I wanted to post-holiday shop SO BAD. I have to keep telling myself to waait, Precious. If my job offer works out THEN I can do those magical things!
