Tonight Jasen and I went to a Belgian-themed St. Niklaas party at our neighbors’ place, so I felt like wearing something a little festive. I don’t know if I’ve talked about it before, but our apartment complex is very friendly...people throw parties, go hiking together, hold movie nights and just generally hang out a lot. It’s pretty sweet to live somewhere like this during the holiday season!
I love that sweater! This look really reminds me of The Stylish Heart. {It's an awesome blog- you should check it out}
ReplyDeleteAwww, that's so sweet that your apartment complex is so friendly...like a big family! ♥ Do you celebrate St. Nicholas?

I love this outfit...any jumper with bobbles on it is a definite hit with me :) Your apartment complex sounds lovely - I've lived in a couple where people barely say hello never mind hang out together!
ReplyDeleteOh I love this! The mix of texture is really nice. I like your cozy-looking sweater and those awesome tights too. Your apartment complex sounds great! I don't know anybody in my building haha
ReplyDeleteYour apartment complex sounds awesome! Also, I love the colors in this outfit. That sweater is lovely :)
ReplyDeleteI wish we had neighbor friends. I have an old J. Crew sweater very similar to the one you are wearing with little pom pons on it, except it's a light sage green. When I lived in Boulder during graduate school, I wore it to my favorite coffee shop to study. While I was in line, an older man behind me asked if my mom picked out my sweater and told me it was hideous and laughed. I started chronicling all of the weird things men said to me at coffee shops. I wish I could find that notebook...
ReplyDeleteI love the pun in the title :) I wish I lived in a friendly apartment complex! The best I can hope for is usually an awkward "hello" as I pass my neighbors in the parking lot.
ReplyDeleteit sounds like melrose place where you live. how fun! kind of nice that you don't have have a designated driver to get home too!
ReplyDeletei love the pairing of textures in this outfit. so festive!

ReplyDeleteHi! This outfit is indeed very festive! I'm digging the tights! Has it been windy over there? It's been a nightmare here. Dang your complex sounds like a fun bunch of folks. :]
ReplyDeleteAs my pet skunk, he hasn't been de-glanded..I've had him since we was a wee new born, so he is completely comfortable around people as well as pets. He hasn't sprayed...yet! haha.
xoxo mama wolf.
I love the 80s/beautiful garden feel to this outfit! With how cool it's been here that sweater looks sooooooo cozy.
