Back at El Matador

Headband: Urban Outfitters
Sweater: thrifted by my mom
Blouse: thrifted
Shorts: thrifted
Bag: American Vintage
Shoes: Urban Outfitters

Today was one of those days that remind me how much I love California and never want to live anywhere else. Sometimes in late January and early February, it gets hot enough to visit the beach. Today was one of those special “summer in winter” days, so I met my friend Natasha at her place in Santa Monica and we drove up to El Matador State Beach.

I blogged about El Matador back in August, but I had my dying six-year-old camera then, and it was so cool to take more photos there with my new Canon. Natasha was nice enough to take some photos of my outfit as well!

  1. Mint is such a nice colour on you <3
Gorgeous shots, it looks warmer there than it is here and we're supposed to be in summer!

  3. Since starting to read blogs I've gotten pretty into the idea of one day visiting California; it looks insanely beautiful. Barcelona can sometimes be balmy like that too in the early parts of the year, though it certainly isn't right now.

I love your outfit and am very jealous you're wearing shorts!

  4. SO PRETTY! You look like a 1940s bathing beauty. I wish shorts flattered my figure in the same way!

That beach is gorge, it reminds me of Crystal Cove up by Newport.

  12. Your outfit is adorable! I love your little mint colored top, and I'm SO jealous of your weather. It was a high of...I don't know...around 32 maybe here in PA. I've still got months til it'll be warm enough to go to the beach!
