When I woke up this morning, I discovered that the weather had turned cool and cloudy, a little foggy even. It feels like it’s been so long since we had a gray day. I always feel a little bit like I’m on vacation when it gets like this in Southern California...like I’m at the beach or driving up the coast or in Seattle. Maybe that’s why I chose to wear this sea green sweater with my pinstriped dress.
Jasen took these photos of me on our way back from running some errands in Glendale. We had to buy part of a birthday gift for my dad and a gift for a baby shower we’re going to tomorrow. I once saw Angelina Jolie, two of her kids and a guy whom I assumed was a bodyguard at the Babies R Us on Los Feliz Boulevard near Glendale, which is the closest Babies R Us to us, so whenever I go there now, of course I have to keep an eye out for celebrities, but we didn’t see anyone famous today!
I love this sweater...the unusual knitted pattern makes it a more interesting take on the current block colour trend. I can't imagine seeing Angelina Jolie in person...I half think of her as a one-dimensional cardboard cutout person. The only bonafide celebrities I've seen in Ireland were Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins in a department store in Dublin and my sister & I actually collided into one another while staring at them...not cool!!
ReplyDeleteThat's so funny that you saw Angelina Jolie in Toys R Us. I would've been taking creeper pictures.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy the sweater you layered over that dress. We had a gray day here today too, but it was very welcome in my book.
Love the yellow shoes and that gorgeous peter pan collar!

ReplyDeleteOhmygoodness, if I saw Angelina Jolie at babies r us...I dunno, I'd probably just stand there gaping and looking really creepy/dumb, haha. How cool that you saw them there once!
