Blouse, skirt, bag and shoes: thrifted
For some reason I looked cross-eyed in almost all my photos today. Maybe I’m going crazy, but that’s how they looked to me. I feel like even in the photo above I look slightly cross-eyed. Maybe I’ve been staring at computer screens too much!
Um, anyway, I really like the combination of peach and green, so when I found this blouse at Goodwill, I knew it had to be worn with my teal green skirt. These shoes are another recent find. They are, I think, from the ’60s. Inside the right shoe there’s some cute script reading “Howard Fox” and inside the left shoe it says, “Huggins Shoes.” Some similar mod-looking pairs by Howard Fox are on Etsy right now.
That blouse is lovely, the ruffle detail is just gorgeous & the colour combination is really nice xo
ReplyDeleteP.S you don't look crossed eyed!
I think I may be going cross-eyed staring at the screen trying to catch a glimpse of your apparent crosseyed'ness :) I love the ruffled blouse and those shoes are so dainty looking. Lovely outfit!
ReplyDeleteI have fallen very much in love with your blog! Your style is absolutely divine...and from your little "bio," we sound rather alike. Can't wait for more...

The ruffle is great. The color of the skirt is also great. Also the shoes are pretty great.
ReplyDeleteI know that I am totally vain but I have a constant weirdo concern that I am cross-eyed or have a lazy eye and nobody ever told me. You do not look cross-eyed in this photo.
Love the ruffles and high collar on this blouse, beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLove your style! You look very sweet!!
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you!

MY LITTLE SUEDE SHOES
such a pretty retro look!love these colors together!
ReplyDeleteI love this outfit! The pink and blue look so cute together, and I love the ruffle detail on your blouse. I don't think you look crosseyed at all in these photos! I thought the same thing about my photos the other day though. I think we all just are a bit too critical of ourselves sometimes :)
ReplyDeleteaaaaah! of course i love everything about this. that color combination is one of my favorites; those shoes are totally to die for; the silhouette is totally 60s and beautiful. have a lovely weekend!
ReplyDeleteAwww, Huggins shoes! That sounds like an adorable brand! What a cute ruffly top! Hope you have a wonderful weekend, sweetie!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE those shoes. They definitely look 60s. I always like vintage script. I've been collecting "vintage" inspired fonts on my computer, and it's quite fun.
ReplyDeleteI really love the top as well. I am a big fan of ruffles. The colors are all so pretty together.
