I’m sure I’ve mentioned it before, but if I had to pick a style “uniform” this would be it: a tee with short or elbow-length sleeves and a full skirt. I always feel good in this combination, though I like my pencil skirts too. I’m also happy to get back to wearing black because I love black, but I also like being comfortable and black in Southern California in the summer usually is not comfortable at all!
I spent about four hours looking for clothes for my Etsy shop today and gathered a nice haul of eight items. I also bought two vintage Japanese dinner plates with yellow flowers for our apartment. Part of me would like to sell dishes in my Etsy shop as well because I find a lot of pretty ones, but I’m afraid of breakage and high shipping costs.
such a pretty "uniform" indeed, I love the cute florals! and the items in your etsy shop are so pretty, don't you love it how fashion is so cyclical?
ReplyDeleteA tee with a full skirt would definitely be my uniform too. Especially in summer! Love the floral and black combo.

I always seem to find the cutest little china patterns when thrifting too. Only in ones of twos so we have a nice little set of non-matching white dishes now :)
ReplyDeleteI think this top was made to go with this skirt. It looks great.
you always find the cutest thrifted items. exhibit a, this skirt. It looks like something I would find at Jcrew for like a bazillion dollars.
ReplyDeletei love the lines of that skirt. it reminds me of the one viktor made in the most recent project runway. . . do you watch that? it was the most perfect skirt, in exactly this shape - different colors, but still. so flattering and lovely.
ReplyDeleteooooh- i would love to see those vintage dishes. i love japanese vintage dishes. maybe you could start out selling a few and see how it goes.
ReplyDeletei like the waistband on that skirt-- it looks really cute with the little black double strap on the shoes.
