No, I don’t think I’m a genius, but every time I wear green I think of that quote from Meet the Parents: “Well, they say geniuses pick green. But you didn’t pick it.” Bahahahaaa...I still think that movie is great, if painful to watch.
So, who’s enjoying a long weekend? Not me! That’s okay, though, because I finally found some red flats at the Montclair Plaza today for $18 after searching forever. I had a very nice pair that fell apart, and I’ve been looking everywhere for a replacement. I had a feeling Montclair Plaza would deliver; they have, like, 10 shoe stores there, and most of them are cheap.
LOVE the pleated skirt! And green is such a great colour.
ReplyDeleteHa! I just brought to green vintage dresses this weekend :)
ReplyDeleteI really like your sweater & skirt combos. You always look so well put together ...

Loving the colour combination <3
ReplyDeleteCongrats on finding your red flats
I've been especially drawn to green of late...though that could be something to do with being an Irish person living abroad or just that I'm a genius in disguise :) Loving this outfit...the bobbles and the pleated skirt. Realy jealous too that I'm currently wearing not just one but two pairs of tights while you're tights free!!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that sweater! Genius.
ReplyDeleteYou look adorable! I'm totally loving your blog! You have a great style!!
ReplyDeletecongrats on the red flats. can't wait to see them worn. this week end i bought four pairs of shoes (because i felt so frustrated ...). but shoes make a girl happy again. ;)
ReplyDeleteoh, love your pleated skirt!

I was trying to remember where I'd heard that quote. I saw that movie with a friend and we quoted it for years, but I forgot WHY we were quoting it.
ReplyDeleteLove the red shoes too. (I could use a long weekend myself)
That hem length works so well on you!!! Skirts that hit just above the knee are so lovely and flattering. Especially when you've got long and -dare I say?- LUSCIOUS legs like you have! You have the most perfect little knees! Anyway... now that I've made a total creep of myself... Ha!
ReplyDeleteI love your sweater- it looks so cozy, which is perfect for the weather we've been having lately. It's that weird part of the year when SoCal can't decide if it wants to rain or shine. Every day is different, so it's best to dress like you do- a cozy sweater paired with a breezy skirt just in case it gets hot!
I didn't get a long weekend either. So sad.
ReplyDeleteI really like the two shades of green you paired together in this outfit. I wish I had more green in my wardrobe!
I didn't have a long weekend either! I actually had a shorter weekend than usual, haha.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, this is a lovely outfit! The colors are so wonderful :)
Where is Montclair Plaza? I don't think I know it!
ReplyDeleteOmg, I was at the Hollywood Goodwill the other day and they had SO MANY RED SHOES, I almost called you but I'm glad to see you already had a pair.
