Sweater: thrifted
Skirt: thrifted

Bag: Tignanello via eBay
Shoes: Naturalizer
Even though I’ve already had this skirt shortened from ankle length to just above the knee, I sometimes feel like it’s still a little too long. So I roll it up at the waist. This works pretty well with pleated skirts in general, which I learned as a teenager at an all-girls Catholic high school when micro-minis inspired by Clueless were trendy.
Does this bag look familiar but different? It’s the same as the gold Tignanello bag that I used to have but in silver. When I bought it on eBay I thought I was getting the exact same bag and was surprised when I found this silver version in the box, but I decided to keep it because it’s still an awesome bag and change is good sometimes.
I'm kinda in love with this skirt. The cameo print is just so sweet. I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who still rolls up my skirts sometimes. Not all the time, but it's nice to have the option of something a little shorter sometimes.
ReplyDeleteI love your skirt! The print is so pretty and you can never go wrong with pleats.
ReplyDeleteAhhh rolling skirts reminds me of highschool!
ReplyDeleteThat's so random about your bag, I'm pleased you kept it though :)
I love that cameo print, it's such a gorgeous skirt no matter what the length and it looks lovely with the apricot top xo
What a gorgeous skirt! I thought it was Alannah Hill when I first saw the print & can't believe it's thrifted. What a find!

The pattern on that skirt is amazing!
ReplyDeleteZOW- that silver bag is bitchin', Heather! I bet it would look amazing with a turquoise skirt or dress. I just love silver and turquoise. Maybe even with a little pink mixed in.
ReplyDeleteI remember when you bought that skirt. I love it at that rolled length- it's like the steamy, subtle romance of Jane Austen has been trimmed and modified for today's standards. Like- ankles are super sexy, yes, BUT SO ARE MY KNEES! Aw, damn! PRIMNESS CONQUERED BY SEXY STYLING!
yeah. I drank too much tea today. See you soon! ;P
