It’s a miracle I got home from work today at 6:30 and actually had time to put a blog post up. Work has been super, super hectic lately with the hiring of new managers. Because as everyone knows, more bosses equals more assignments and reports (so you can make them look good). Yet, unfortunately, I have no desire to be a manager myself. I like churning out some kind of creative “product” every day (I’m a copywriter if you haven’t seen me mention that before), so I guess I’ll never make the big bucks.
Well, that has nothing to do with my outfit, except that this is a good example of what I typically wear to work: a short-sleeved sweater or knit top with a pleated or pencil skirt and pointy flats. Are pleated skirts hard to sew? I wish I knew how to make them so I could have them in every color and print that I like, at about this length.
I'm about to learn how to sew pleats. I'll keep you posted.

This is such a perfect pleated skirt! I wish I had a cute red one like this. It really is the perfect length too. I like how its pleats play off the stripes in your top.

ReplyDeleteI also never want to be a manager. I think it's because I've never had a job in a field of interest, why would I ever want more responsibility? I am like Lester Burnham in American Beauty (sans pervy aspects), "I want the job with the least amount of responsibility."
