Here are a few photos from our first day in Seal Beach! Although seals very rarely show up around here anymore (well, actually, I read somewhere that this was never a favorite seal hangout and that the city was given its name to attract investors and tourists), they do have a cool old Pacific Electric Railway car, antique shops and one of the two best pizza places I know of in Southern California, Slice of New York.
Lots of pretty pictures from your trip! I hope you're having a fantastic time. The pizza looks yummy!

ReplyDeleteDid you go in the railway car? It looks like it'd be fun to poke around in there.
ReplyDeleteThose cat figurines have stolen my heart. And that pizza will haunt my dreams, hehe.
@Emily: No, the car museum is only open on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month, and we were at the beach on a third Saturday. I really, REALLY want to visit when the museum is open sometime, though! I might do that at some point and write a blog post with a little info about the Pacific Electric Railway that once had lines all over Southern California.
