Romper, cardigan and shoes: thrifted
I wanted to do a very quick Thrifted Thursday post before leaving for the beach, so here it is! I found this dress-like romper at Quality Thrift recently along with another one just like it in a different floral print. They’re old Wet Seal rompers from the early ’90s, I think. The weird thing is they’re both marked the same size and pretty much look identical, but this one is longer and the other, since it’s shorter, looks more romper-like. I guess the other one shrunk in the wash at some point, although I washed both of them the same way after I bought them.
And yes, I got my hair chopped back to a super-short cut! If you live in the Pasadena area and you’re curious about the stylist I go to, it’s Cat at the Bokaos Aveda salon in Old Town Pasadena. I also like Monica at that salon a lot. They both love to do short cuts and take a lot of time perfecting all the little details.
Lovely romper. The new hair cut look great too. Have fun on the beach!
ReplyDeletei am in love with your cardigan and the romper looks adorable also :) your haircut reminds me of betty boop. the man who wrote the comics and made the movies actually lives in my town and we have a big festival every year haha :)

ReplyDeleteyou look so adorable with short hair, I wish I could pull it off
ReplyDeleteYour new haircut looks fabulous; super short hair really suits you. And I don't think I've seen you in a romper before, but you look adorable! I'm always looking for little floral dresses from the nineties. The prints are so sweet. :)
ReplyDeleteAhh! You seriously work pixie cuts so beautifully. :)
ReplyDeleteDress-like rompers are pretty much the only kinda rompers I like. I just love its little dress illusion and the fact that is has flowy legs rather than others that are too short or just not that flowy.

ReplyDeleteHi Heather,
ReplyDeleteHope you're enjoying your beach getaway! I really love your new hairdo! You suit short styles very well. I have no guts to go any shorter than my current hair length!
I've always liked rompers and this wet seal one looks fab on you. Your shoes are lovely too. I've been looking for wedges like that but I've yet to find one that I like. :(

ReplyDeleteyour hair looks fabulous! i look like such a dip in 90s clothing, but it looks fantastic on you. enjoy the beach, i'll be at the beach on the opposite coast!
ReplyDeleteLove the romper on you. Your hair looks goreous as per usual.
ReplyDeleteThe hair looks great, and I love the romper. Love the colors especially. I like it paired with the teal green cardi. I Have an older cardi in the same color. It's my very favorite one, and it's worn out from so much wear.
ReplyDeleteThe colors in this outfit are really lovely. Your cardigan and romper were clearly made for each other ;)
ReplyDeleteCute romper. I love your hair! :)
