El Matador

Blouse: thrifted
Shorts: thrifted
Shoes: Pink Studio

Today Jasen and I took a picnic to the most beautiful beach we’ve ever seen in Southern California, El Matador State Beach. It’s in a somewhat out-of-the-way place, at the north end of Malibu. And wow. It is GORGEOUS.

While we were sitting on the beach, a couple having their engagement photos (well, I assume) taken walked by, and as we were leaving, several photographers were taking photos of oiled-up swimsuit models on the rocks. A few other groups of people were there this afternoon, but otherwise it wasn’t that crowded. I can’t wait to go back!

  6. Gorgeous, indeed! I really like when beach-scapes are defined more by rocks than just sand.

  7. You look like a 1940s bathing beauty! I've never been to that beach. What area is it in? I think my favourite beach is Crystal Cove. I never get sick of that area.
