Today was my second day of work at my new job! Jasen took my photos pretty early in the morning, and this is the only one that miraculously didn’t come out totally blurry because of the low light.
I have a crazy commute, so I don’t know how often I’ll have time to comment on blogs now. I’ll try to fit it in when I can, but it’s going to be rough for a while. My boss has mentioned that I might be able to work from 10 to 7 instead of 9 to 6, though, which could really help in terms of traffic. I think I’m going to try that schedule out on Thursday if possible.
Love the skirt and the blouse is perfect with mustard! I hope you like your new job and that this crazy commute isn't too bad :)Your boss seems thoughtful though.
ReplyDeleteYou look lovely, I hope the new job is everything you want it to be :)
ReplyDeleteThis Outfit is Adorable, Especially The Color Combination is awesome! You Look Stunning in this adorable outfit!!
ReplyDeleteVery cute work outfit...I'm sure you're a ray of sunshine in the office :) I've had horrible commutes in the past so I feel your pain...is there any possibility of working from home occasionally? Best of luck with it anyway!
ReplyDeleteGreat blouse!
ReplyDeleteThat skirt is perfect! I'm a bit obsessed with mustard and I love how you paired it with the pretty patterned blouse.
ReplyDeleteCommutes are a bit of a pain, I don't have to suffer the traffic, but I do get squashed in morning trains. In any case it's great you can choose the schedule that's best for you.
Commuting has always been my least favorite part of being employed. Good luck with the new hours. Congrats on the new job! I still love this skirt on you. The color is awesome.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I love the look--the skirt is so lovely with that pattern! Best of luck with the commute--hope the different hours help :)
ReplyDeletelove your skirt!

Congrats my dear! I love your mustard skirt. It is so refreshing and goes very well with the blouse too. I hope you'll get to start work later...commuting can be such a pain!
ReplyDeletelove the color of your skirt. sounds like your days are getting pretty busy fast. I cant imagine staying at work until 7pm but waking up later would be awesome.
ReplyDeleteI hear you on the commute. Mine is over 30 miles each way, which would be next to impossible in the LA area. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteOh, and I like your top :)
That yellow skirt is awesome! Sorry to hear about your crappy commute. I'm not looking forward to having to drive to work once I graduate. Maybe I won't have to? haha. That's unlikely.
ReplyDeleteYou got the job!?!? Congrats, Heather!!! That is SO cool! I love the yellow skirt...it looks great!
ReplyDeleteYay! Good luck with the new job (and the commute challenge), if you are doing as fabulous as you are looking you are rocking it!

I'm having a giveaway...
At our tilde old job tilde, I was hired with my hours starting at 10 (despite what later regimes demanded) and it made a HUUUUUUUGE difference in traffic- just that sixty minutes. I really hope you can change your hours.
ReplyDeleteSo jealous of that amazing thrifted skirt! What a find!
