Blouse, shorts and shoes: thrifted
Yep, it’s still hot here. Yawn. But I was glad to have the chance to wear this summery blouse that I found at Goodwill a week or so ago. I have a thing for gingham and picnic plaid and have been looking for clothing with those types of patterns.
Tonight someone who lives nearby and is interested in the vest and pant set in my Etsy shop is stopping by to try it on. I’ve never met a stranger this way, but Jasen will be here and I found her blog by Google stalking, so I think it’s pretty safe. She offered to meet me at a café, but I didn’t want to make her try things on in the bathroom there. Guess I’d better go make our apartment look a little less messy now!
that's so random that someone wants to come try things on!
ReplyDeletei loooove that top. i'm also obsessed with gingham.
love those heels!

You look adorable in shorts!
ReplyDeleteLOVE how the ribbon goes down and crosses near the toe of your flattes creating that little 'bow' effect - so cute!

This is really sweet! I love how the shoes give the outfit a cute vintage vibe :) I really want to give shorts a try this summer! x
ReplyDeleteLove the shoes.
ReplyDeleteSo gorgeous! Lots of style, love your shoes!
ReplyDeleteFollowing you! <3<3
That blouse is super cute. It certainly isn't hot here anymore! In fact it feels like late November....
ReplyDeleteThis is such a perfect outfit on you. LOVE that blouse and the way you styled it. And it's all thrifted?! Amazing.
ReplyDeleteI hear you, it's still fairly hot here too. This past weekend it was rainy and "cold" (plus I was sick) so I wore lots of layers and hats - but just yesterday I was in shorts!! So frustrating. I'm ready for some cold!
Happy Friday and weekend :)
In my sweater & scarf I'm a little jealous you are still having such nice weather. But you still look adorable.
ReplyDeleteI hope you do not get murdered by the internet stranger, AND that you get to sell something. I asked a local seller if she would be willing to do the same with me (she did not respond) so I'm also glad you're much more open to these things.
This is a lovely outfit, the gingham blouse is super cute and the shorts look great on you. I also love the shoes, they give the outfit a bit of a chic touch.
ReplyDeleteIt's still rather hot over here too, argh autumn!
That is a very cute outfit! A bit strange to me because it is totally a summer look, and here's autumn is going strong (it's not that cold though), but really really pretty! I love how simple, chic and romantic it is with the gingham blouse, shorts and the shoes.
ReplyDeletecute look. I cant believe how warm it is where you are. Here in CT its rainy and cold. Not fun!
ReplyDeleteI love this blouse! Haha I love meeting bloggers, and it's always really funny when you end up living right near each other, haha!

Well since 98% of my friends I have met, I have met online you are probably pretty safe! Especially with Jasen there. If it comes up many times, maybe you can just pick to meet up at the Goodwill since they have a changing room right there!
ReplyDeletePS IT IS WAY TOO EFFING HOT.
Hi there, I found your blog on Green Tea and Cupcakes blog. I love your style and am now following.
ReplyDeleteLOVE Myer-Briggs, I'm an ENFP too (same as your hubby). I can spot one at 100 paces. :)
adorable!!
ReplyDeletedid you get anything from me in the mail yet?
hope you're having a nice weekend in your little shorts.
Those shoes are adorable and I love the summery print on your blouse. I'm pretty tired of warm weather too haha
ReplyDeleteCute shirt!! I love too that kind of pattern!!
ReplyDeleteGreat purchase!!

MY LITTLE SUEDE SHOES
Hey.... those are shorts. You threw me off :)
ReplyDeleteI love gingham too, there is something about it that makes you feel so pretty. As usual, your red lipstick is the perfect accessory.
You're very nice to let her come over and try those clothes on. If anything she'll feel obligated to buy items from you since you let her in your home. Good luck!
xoxo
