Easy as Primary

Cardigan: J.J. Basics
Top: Susina
Skirt: Forever 21
Tights: Urban Outfitters
Shoes: Seychelles, found at Ross

I’ve worn this skirt a few other times on my blog (here, here and here). I keep coming back to it on days when I want to be comfortable since it’s soft and lightweight and looks good with flats. I hadn’t worn a “primary colors” outfit in a while, so I added my mustard knit top and red cardigan today. These shoes must be at least 10 years old and the right one has a small hole in back, but they’re great to walk around in and won’t be thrown out until they fall apart.

I also wanted to mention that I recently ended up on Erin of calivintage’s tumblr! She picked up my “Dapper Camper” post from Saturday. I was so excited to discover this because I’ve been reading her blog for quite a while now. It’s one of the first blogs I started reading once I discovered the fabulous world of style blogs. I’m sure almost everyone looking at my blog knows who Erin is, but if you don’t...check out calivintage because it rocks!

  1. It's seriously the best feeling in the world when you find yourself featured or posted about or blogrolled :) This outfit is so simple and nice. Makes me want to try something similar in the near future--though I don't really own anything yellow, so that might be difficult.

  4. Hi Heather, sorry to say this but I was the one who posted your look on tumblr and then it got reblogged by her through some other tumblr that reblogged it from me. You looked really amazing though I don't think only calivintage saw that.

I really like the mix of those colour with the polkadot skirt, very cute!

  7. Despite usually not being too much a fan of mixing colors, you've managed to win me over with this look! And I love the polka dots.
