One of the best things about a colorful skirt is that it goes with everything. I found this one at Goodwill in Pasadena, and it originally fell just below the knee on me. It looked okay like that, but I had it shortened because I figured I’d wear it more.

This outfit reminds me that I need to find a new mustard or golden yellow top. This one got too worn out and had to go. Fortunately this color should be around a lot for fall!

I like how the mint blouse here picks up the teal from the skirt but in a lighter shade, and there’s something similar going on with the maroon in the skirt and the red shoes.
Jewel Tones |
This outfit is a little more matchy-matchy. I’ve since sold the silver top I’m wearing here because it had a weird little boob pocket that I couldn’t get over, but now I kind of regret it.

And finally, with pink! Why am I holding this skirt out to the side in three of these photos? I don’t know, I guess it’s just the kind of skirt that makes you want to do that.
this is adorable. i love it with the mint shirt. mostly i think i just want to own that mint shirt. you are the queen of skirts!
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome versatile skirt. I have a couple like that—which have multiple colors and thus, match with almost everything. I think my favorite is the jewel toned outfit! I think the neutral shoes are lovely.
