Villains

Top: Forever 21, found at Buffalo Exchange
Cardigan: Jessica Howard
Skirt: thrifted
Necklace: belonged to my grandma
Shoes: Naturalizer

This is what I wore to my friend Mary’s birthday party at Villains Tavern a few weeks ago. Jasen and I didn’t get a chance to take photos that evening, so I thought I’d recreate the outfit today since I really liked it.

Villains has a sort of old-fashioned, steampunk vibe and serves some pretty amazing signature cocktails. We couldn’t spend a lot of money there, but Jasen and I each tried one cocktail. I had the Loki, which is “vodka infused with green tea, sage, honey, peaches, citrus and soda.” SO good. Jasen had the Fatal Hour, which he also loved. I can’t find the menu description for that one, though. If you’re in the L.A. area, I highly recommend this place, although I have to warn you that it was a little hard for us to find because the address numbering on Palmetto St. seriously makes no sense.

  6. I think black and white combos are my favourites on you. I'm always commenting on them. This outfit is super cute. I LOVE ruffle-y tops!!! I also like your pose in the second picture. It's very "alright you can take a photo but I'm just chillin'"

  12. I love this outfit..the cameo pattern on the skirt is gorgeous. It has an old fashioned feel that's offset by the more modern top. Great blog...now following :)
