Oh So Anthro

Top: Willow & Clay
Skirt: Fei from Anthropologie
Shoes: thrifted vintage
Bag: thrifted

My skirt is the only piece from Anthropologie in this outfit, but I think this overall look is very much their style. I mean, I’m wearing an embellished top, a full skirt, a leather bag with hardware and quirky shoes — yep, pretty Anthro, I’d say.

I don’t know if Anthropologie carries anything by Willow & Clay, although Willow & Clay would definitely fit in with their aesthetic. I’ve actually done a little freelance copywriting for Willow & Clay in the past. They were really fun to work with! The copy in their spring lookbook is mine (introduced typos and that "Stripes Abound" heading aside), and I also worked on a sweater guide for them last fall.

  10. By the way, have you looked at BIGCARTEL for a shop. You might want to take a look. Steffy at Steffy's Pros and Cons has one and also FancyTreehouse. It looks a little less Etsy and more autonomous and it's a flat fee so when your sales start rolling percentages don't get sucked up only $20 a month. free advice...

Your shoes here are very unique. There's always something special about vintage shoes that make them so quirky and interesting to look at.

  15. I love that top! I've seen some Willow and Clay in Nordstroms, but I'm not sure about Anthro. If they don't NOW, they probably will in the future.

  16. love the fit of that skirt. i got rid of almost all non-pencil skirts and i'm really missing my a-lines. and yeah, that outfit pretty much belongs in an anthropologie catalog.
